Fate

New York. 04:30am.
I'm wide awake, reason being i had been sleeping for almost 12hours after my flight.

I had been thinking a lot recently...

A lot..
About people in my life.

People who entered my life and changed me.
People who passed by for a moment and left without a gdbye.
People who trampled my heart and abused my love.
People who came by randomly and never did anything.
People who came in and never left my side in any situation.

I think each of us played a different role in every one's life.
To each different individual, i might be the acquaintance, the hi-bye friend, the best friend ever, the soulmate or the heartbreaker. We are all linked in some ways or another, i think, somehow, a little or much, we are affecting or affected by people in our lives. Have you ever wonder, in your circle of network, what is your role to this person, how did it happened and what goes on? Your every little words or actions can determine your role in another person's heart.

It's amazing how a person comes into your life, and how things happen, and how the story develops on.
Why is it him instead her, and why her but not him? Is this Fate?

This sets me thinking of this particular sentence which Isaac told me:
[愛情像風一樣 他敲敲的來了敲門 如果你沒有好好的把握 他又敲敲的走了.]

His words were like the Chinese version of what I believe in:
[If two souls are destined to fall in love, they are sure to meet at the crossroads of life . Fate exists but it can only take you so far, because once you're there. It's up to you to make it happen.]

Have i been trying hard enough?

两个有神经病的女人

Weeknights are usually boring, when everybody is fretting over the next day's work schedule. But for me, everyday in SG is considered holidays. Cannot waste them!

There are some nights which are exceptionally lonely and boring,
and there are some nights which are really fun and crazy....

Dining at Minori.
We had a hard time getting to this place because the GPS was retarded.
It directed us to somewhere else. We had dinner buffet at Minori.
The thing about buffet is, the food can never be as delicious as an Ala carte dish.
Overall, the dining experience was not bad, the place looks new and clean.
The sashimi and tempura was alright, not the best in town though.

Superstars
Starring Eileen and I.
Above is a normal photo.
Caution: The next few photos may cause adverse reactions to your body and mind.
LOL , I can't help laughing while posting this up.
We are crazy.

The TaiTai Look
Stunned, my hair suddenly became long. LOL.
I always wanted to try big curls but now i change my mind.
The hairstyle made me look like I'm 32 instead of 23.
yikes!

Mushroom Bob head
i will never ever cut my hair so short.
i thought this style looks kinda retro. haha.
And my head looks big like a mushroom >,< Photobucket

Exchanging hair wigs.
I think Eileen looks normal with the curly wig because her hair style is originally similar to it.
But the short hair.... CANNOT MAKE IT. LOL!!!!

Wearing hair wigs is such a torture.
My scalp felt warm and itchy, really uncomfortable!

My belated gift
Eileen bought me a present from Agnes b.

Pretty Red box.
It was supposed to be a makeup box.
But i think it will be easily dirty if i put cosmetics inside.
I decided to use it to put my accessories and watches.

Agnes B keyring
Surprisingly i received 2 Agnes B gifts on the same day.
The keyring was from Cindy.
It's gold and PINK!! :)

雖然你離開了, 但我還是永遠愛你;
雖然看不到你, 但我永遠知道你在;
雖然你沒有給我永遠, 但你永遠住在我的心裡。
雖然時間沒有證明你給我的愛,但我想時間不夠用來證明我愛你的永遠。

Found an old blog post...
then i realised how much time had passed...
What had i lost...?
Did i only lose you, or have i also lost myself....?

Bag Lovin'

Recently, i received a regular newsletter email from LV, then it struck upon me how i had been ill-treating my collection of bags.

Photobucket

Poor thing, those pretty bags landed themselves into the hands of an untidy and careless owner like me. What the hell is with cleaning and wiping the bags when i don't even have time to tidy up my messy bedroom?! Seriously. LOL.

Reflection point!
THOU SHALL TREAT MY BAGS LIKE PRECIOUS GEMS! *promise*

And to whoever out there that also has the same bad habit like me...
come'on it's time to give some loving to your bags too :)

And to men who thinks that women are silly for treating bags like babies, gosh, you are equally absurd, because you regard your cars as wives. (-_-")

En Japanese Dining

Last week, we went to dine at En Grill and Bar because we were fedup of queueing at this particular japanese restaurant in Far East, which Eileen said she always see the shop with long queues and she never had a chance to get in. LOL.
All i can say is, oh well, we are both impatient women!!
I don't like queueing either, i always cut queue muhahahhaha!

And so the two famished women quickly headed to this En Japanese Dining, can't miss it, it is just right opposite the old Mdm Wong.

[Mohamed Sultan street]
Long gone are the glory days of Mohamed Sultan where the party animals roamed.
The clubbing street had since converted itself into a wine and dine alley.
I remembered the crazy days there.
The nightlife. The booze and the pumping music.
Looking at it now, so much quieter, and simpler.
And a little tinge of loneliness.

[Yours Truly]
The wide teak and cushion seats, huge enough for 3 or 4 pax.
An outdoor dining experience with a dim moonlight up above.
Quite romantic, but my partner is Eileen (walau!!)
Hahahahahhahahahaha (>,<) sadded Off-topic, but did u realise my hair has grown a little longer? and messier too :(

[Art of dining]
You say they are merely chopsticks and plates, i think otherwise.
The design and colors of cutlery can directly influence a diner's appetite.
I like how Japanese restaurants always provide cutlery that look like a piece of art and reveal the beauty of its culture.
Don't you think this set is simple yet graceful?
I like :D

[Appetisers]
Salmon Avocado, Tuna Kimchi, Cube Saikoro Steak
i couldn't decide which was the best because they all tasted wonderful.
Pleasing to the eyes and delectable to my taste buds.

[Black ooze]
Do not judge a book by its cover.
Don't let the appearance of this dish fool you!
This is Ika Sumi Pasta,
The black sauce might look a little gross, but trust me, it was amazingly delicious!!!
The downside is, we ended up with black stained teeth after the meal!
Ewwwwwwww. Turnoff!

[Sweet Tooth]
Custard Pudding & Macha Tiramisu
The combi with the fruits made them look really savoury!
i prefer the tiramisu, ok, I'm biased in this case, because i originally like tiramisu. lol.

[Gluttons in action]
I forgot, are we gluttons or cam whores?
Alright, we are good in multitasking :D

Tummies round round, Teeth black black :D

花花世界

Finally uploaded tonnes of photos, my TW trip, my bday pics, and other random photos.
Decided to post pics of my recent AMS trip first (just last week).
Totally in love with the tulips seasons and all the flowers.
Now i know why people say that women loves flowers!
Flowers are so pretty :D

I took many photos , but just gonna post up some of my favourite ones.
Trust me, this is a COLORFUL entry that will brighten ya day ^^

**************************************************

[Cherrie was here!]
At the entrance of the famous Keukenhof Gardens.
The World's largest bulb flower park.

[Retro taxi]
The vintage ride matches my polka dots jacket. haha

[Lucky Lady]
I like the color and i like the name.

[Little lambs]
Cherrie had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb...lol

[Eeyore]
I was rather fearful of this stinky furry creature.

[Perfect Sakura]
I'm very proud of this shot, i think it looks super pretty :D

[Delighting your senses]
I don't want a bouquet of flowers, i want a garden!!

[Of canals and tulips]
The AMS feel background

[Russian Princess]
Another personal favourite. Love the pink and white combi

[Bed of tulips]
Tulips is the new rose.

[Tulips fields]
Large lands dedicated to grow tulips.

[Yellow twirl]
The yellow tulips in a bend

[Windmill and I]
Posing with the windmill, typical AMS photo.

[Japan in AMS]
The sakura garden, a Japanese feel in the Netherlands.

**************************************************
The trip to Keukenhof was fulfilling and eyeopening. It was a truly great experience to understand and appreciate the nature. I enjoyed the feeling of having pretty flowers surrounding me, and basking in the scent of various species of flowers. It made me feel like a fairy! Haha.
Don't u think that the tulips are sooooooooo pretty?
I couldn't resist, I bought a bunch home :D

for better mood

Some says that Laughter is the best medicine.
I believe that Chocolates is the best remedy for myself.

Chocolates can chase my blues away.
and Chocolates can double my happiness too.
Whoever that invented this miracle food, you are the man!!

My yummy treat for a lazy and boring afternoon.
I dislike sweet or milk chocolates.
Godiva is definitely the real deal, but a cheap simple Van Houten Semi-sweet choco from the nearby shop will do the trick too. Because i love almonds in chocos!

The room aroma which i bought in Taipei!
It really made my room smells great!
It's ROSE smell :)
I do believe that nice smelling rooms can elevate a person's mood.

I like aroma therapy stuffs. Good for de-stressing!

The most powerful tool in my makeup kit.
Shu Uemura is the godfather in the cosmetics industry, i tell ya!
Out of all their good products, my favourite and most recommended is their eyelash curler!
Very effective and very cheap!
It helps to "open" my eyes instantly! (@_@)

It's all about Looking good and Feeling good.
A happy girl is a pretty girl
Dont' ya agree?
:)

Ghibil Musuem

I'm so slow in posting photos these days.
I'm so lazy to collage them for my blog.
i'm just plain lazy....... (>,<)

**********************************

三鷹の森ジブリ美術館

Anyway here's the Ghibil Musuem pics which i went on 01'March.
I totally adore the robot soldier from "Laputa Castle in the Sky", and that was my main reason for visiting the musuem. I really like the works of Hayao Miyazaki, and "Laputa Castle in the Sky" is my favourite among his works.

But it's a pity that the Musuem does not allow photography.
It's a gorgeous place on its own and has many interesting exhibits.
And my cutie Ponyo baby came from there too!! Heehee.
The musuem is a happy place, one that's for both adults and children.
Ghibil holds special memories for me.
I wanna go there again someday, and in future, i wanna bring my child there too. :)
