In the lined shelves of many toy shops in Japan, you will spot this brown furry nugget nestled. Very cute. At first, i couldn't figure out what animal it was.. haha, at a glance, i thought it was a hippo or hamster! Well... it turns out to be a capybara.
According to wikipedia, capybara is actually the largest rodent in the world. For more info, u can go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capybara. Contrary to the furry toy, a real life capybara is actually quite...Ugly....! Well... Japanese makes everything cuter. lolz.
Other than toyshops, i found them in the arcade too! Yay, it's Capybara-san, known to be exceptionally lazy and adorable. Super big and flurry plush! *Sheesshh* i wanted to try my luck on it, but it's way too huge...!! Too big to fit in my luggage and bring it back to Sg, so i gave up the idea. Haha.
